It's maddening that Berlin police banned any and all Nakba Day-related events, and then proceeded to arrest *170 people* who participated in a quick show of protest. The fact that this went virtually unreported is just as maddening.

Israel’s High Court recently rejected a petition by residents against the firing zone, allowing for the forcible transfer of over 1,000 Palestinians from Masafer Yatta. Tear gas and stun grenades were used against the protesters.
