#MentalHealth Awareness days, weeks, months, what do they really do? Awareness is all well and good, but pointless without action. Do you want to REALLY make yourself aware? Then what are you going to do about it? #EndTheStigma #CPTD #PTSD #TimeToTalk amazon.co.uk/dp/1800460805

The impact of suicide on my life & my experience with suicidal thoughts is the hardest subject to talk about. Until therapy I didnโ€™t tell anyone what happened. Even now itโ€™s so sensitive I worry as I write about it. #SuicidePrevention #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay joeplumb.org/post/living-witโ€ฆ

#CPTSD is tricky. You want to be hopeful not unrealistic, heal not chase the impossible. Learn to trust, not continue with harmful relationships. I had to accept the injury Iโ€™d suffered and learn there is no way back, only forward to create a new me. thestrugglecontinues.co.uk/pโ€ฆ

For good #mentalhealth you must accept all of yourself. From the daily fluctuations that are natural to seeing anger as only bad. There are no negative emotions only where you are at the time and what you do with them. #PTSD #CPTSD #timetotalk #EndStigma link.medium.com/NRvu52P16fb

I have a rule that I donโ€™t even want to hear about Xmas until December. Why? Because for me, Xmas is never a time of joy. So give a little thought and compassion for those for whom Xmas isโ€ฆ #MentalHealthMatters #PTSD #CPTSD #compassion #TimeToTalk thebookofman.com/mind/mentalโ€ฆ

#ImHere ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค - #December is one of the hardest months of the year for people who suffer mentally, who have lost loved ones and who spend #Christmas alone. Make sure you check-in on those around you. Stay tuned for more information on my #ImHere campaign on my website today.

Trauma is a series of small deaths, by @NikkiKayAuthor โ€œTogether, we climb out of the depths and stand at the cliffโ€™s edge, arm in arm, looking out over the smoking ruins of our childhood.โ€ Harsh, beautiful, raw, honest. link.medium.com/VsrXQTTAOib

You canโ€™t recover from anxiety by staying calm. You canโ€™t recover from depression by just been positive. You canโ€™t recover from anorexia by just eating more. If mental health illnesses were that simple. WE WOULD,NT BE STRUGGLING IN THE FIRST PLACE. #MentalHealthAwareness
