If you wanted to protect traffickers and predators, you'd pass a bunch of legislation that looks exactly like California's. Here's my investigation into the consequences of these new "LGBTQ-rights" laws: open.substack.com/pub/abigai…

Aaron’s reporting on this scandal - and so many others - is outstanding. I’d follow him (in fact, I do!)
One day after Stanford Law School reiterated that the behavior of its DEI dean, Tirien Steinbach, was unacceptable, Steinbach writes in the Wall Street Journal that she was merely trying to “defuse the situation” so that Judge Duncan could speak. wsj.com/articles/diversity-a…

Well, Scott's on record now saying that schools should be conspiring to keep secrets from families. About their own children.
A DeSantis-style bill was just introduced in CA to require teachers/counselors to inform parents if a kid id’s as a gender not on birth certificate. Even if the kid isn’t ready to come out to their parents. Even if ratting the kid out risks violence at home. Nope, not in CA.

Thank you, Joel. And thank you to the @ManhattanInst, for a wonderful event.

So your position is that if someone is a woman, that’s some kind of secret that’s no one’s business. But if someone’s *impersonating* a woman, that’s cause for public celebration. Fascinating.
Hi Abigail, I believe #TransWomenAreWomen because another person’s expression of their innate biology is nobody else’s business Please explain how @FaeJohnstone living her authentic truth threatens your existence. I can wait for your answer full of female misogyny 🙄

.@HeatherEHeying is a true scientist - she examines evidence without fear of social media mobs or losing the favor of powerful people. Her batting average on the controversies surrounding the pandemic is impressive. I'm proud to call her a friend. Don't miss this piece.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, four times, fifty times, a hundred—what the hell. Shame on all of us who continue to fall for these games. open.substack.com/pub/natura…

You get the feeling that these companies *always* despised women -- they were just waiting for the right moment to stick it to us. Here's the thing about real women, @Hersheys: We have long memories.

This is exactly right. Read the whole thing.
A note on “peak woke”: you’re being superficially placated so you’ll forget the institutional powers that matter. Yes, they’ll print a defense of JK Rowling in the NYT. We might even manage to establish some limits on minor transition. (These are good things, don’t get me wrong)

I published Irreversible Damage in 2020, to a total media blackout: Not a single book review in the U.S. mainstream press; not even Kirkus or Publishers Weekly would review it. *Tens of thousands* of kids have transitioned w/out their parents knowing the risks.

I’m a bleeding heart liberal from the SF Bay Area. Coverage of this issue has made msm intolerable. I first tuned into Fox News to see an interview with @AbigailShrier , later to hear first-hand accounts of young detransitioners. @bariweiss gets it right: thefp.com/p/i-thought-i-was-…

This utter disaster is the inevitable result of making “gender identity” a protected characteristic under the law.
A Canadian man who raped a 3-month-old baby is now in a women's prison and being housed alongside a mother-baby unit after identifying as transgender. Female inmates say Adam Laboucan has been leering at the infants in the unit. reduxx.info/canada-man-who-r…

The world has learned so much since this Act was first written: - the dangers to women in prison - the unfairness to girls in sports - the dangers of pediatric gender medicine But this Administration, apparently, has learned nothing.
Let’s pass the bipartisan Equality Act to ensure LGBTQI+ Americans – especially transgender young people – can live with safety and dignity.
