I just lost my Corgi and will miss him forever. We went everywhere and did everything together. So yes it takes forever and maybe never to not miss them.

I miss all the pets i have lost. They were each so different and were such fun and loving creatures.

My 20 year old cat died in 2005. I have grieved her more than any human being. I still miss her, but the memory is less, so the pain is less. I'm sorry you lost your best friend.
