That's the first release to include in-editor class reference translations as showcased here (Chinese (Simplified) 83% complete, Spanish 71%, French 19%, Japanese 13%, German 9% and the rest lower than 5):

This made the editor binaries significantly larger if you compare with 3.4 beta 6 - it's a lot of text! In the next build I'll remove the translations with <= 10% completion ratio to save ~20 MB. More ideas on reducing size cost of #l10n are discussed in github.com/godotengine/godot…

Note: Godot 3.4 (and future 3.x releases) still cannot display RTL languages properly, so I'd advise against spending too much time working on translations for these languages. We'll soon switch translations to focus on 4.0, then you can help translate the 4.0 class reference.

I have to say, #GodotEngine is proving to be extremely intuitive for me. I wanted to have the same options menu on the title screen and in gameplay, and the first thing I tried worked exactly the way I wanted.

I have had comments that the smoke looks out of place in this vectorish world. Instead I am now using random character particles on explosions and small amounts of smoke, that I think is working better now. #indiegame #gamedev #GodotEngine #b3d #scifi #RetroGaming #roguelite

"Godot is slow" "Godot's nodes are slow" That's true if you use everything by default, but Godot actually gives you great tools to increase performance a lot. Using simple nodes, shooting 2000 bullets slows down my computer. Using Godot's data-driven servers I get 10,000+
