Political unionism needs to get with the programme. There is no going back in the box. The days of dominance are gone forever. Accept the changed realities, stop fighting a losing battle and embrace the change for the benefit of us all. #choosethefuture

This weekend, some companies increased the cost of gas by 43% & electricity by 27.5% We need an Executive formed now, to support families & workers through rising living costs We also need the British Govt to take action by cutting tax on fuel, keeping money in people’s pockets

"They said I was ruthless, daring, savage, blood thirsty, even heartless. The clergy called me and my comrades murderers; but the British were met with their own weapons. They had gone in the mire to destroy us and our nation and down after them we had to go."

We are proposing extending the Back to School Allowance so that middle-income families will now qualify. At the same time those who already qualify for the Allowance would see a 50% increase. 📺 Watch @Donnchadhol outline some of our key measures

I genuinely can’t get over the number of media commentators & journalists who readily acknowledge the lies, distortion & misinformation surrounding the Brexit referendum in 2016, & yet who swallow the fake news around the Protocol in 2022.

The debate on Irish reunification is growing daily. The momentum for constitutional change on this island has never been stronger. @moneillsf ‘s remarks at Bodenstown last week were 100%. The Irish govt needs to establish a Citizens Assembly without further delay #Time4Unity

Great to visit the exciting project that is the Titantic Distillery, based at the Dock and Pump-house in Belfast that helped to build the Titanic. Great to see businesses thriving, creating jobs and taking full advantage of the protocol, with access to markets across the globe.

Six years ago today 56% of the people in the North voted to remain in the EU. Economically it makes obvious sense. There was No Consent for Brexit here. Ultimately, the route back into the EU for All of Ireland is through reunification & a case of Brexit Britain or a New Ireland!

Instead of paying for strike-breakers to stay in 5 star luxury & so deepening the strike impasse at the West Belfast & Larne sites, Caterpillar International management should be focussed on proper negotiations & a fair pay resolution. unitetheunionireland.org/202… via @UniteunionNI

Taoiseach, in the spirit of sharing the island and Article 2 of Bunreacht na hÉireann Ireland is home to 7.116 million people - like me - I’m Irish, I live in Ireland but I’m not counted in the statistics you cite. Please stop ‘othering’ us and our Irishness. Go raibh maith agat.
The Irish population continues to grow – with Ireland home to more than 5m people for first time since 1851. Census illustrates the need for continued investment in services such as childcare, education, health and housing to keep pace.
