I used to do fun things like BMX racing, snowboarding and travelling to all sorts of places. Now I'm a grown up, doing what good I can for others who need it.
Really enjoying listening to @mrjamesob this morning. It's a really interesting perspective to find out what it is that MPs do, instead of what they don't.
Have you ever been able to contact your local MP to see if they can help you with any issue that needed to be addressed?

• They say they’re fixing social care so the elderly don’t have to sell their homes.
• Meanwhile, they are privatising the NHS to a point where you will have to remortgage your home to pay for the treatment you need.

This is the reality of Conservative Britain:
Supermarket shelves and petrol pumps are empty.
Working people are hit with a new jobs tax, rise in council tax, freeze in personal allowance and a cut to Universal Credit.
The Government is letting Britain down.

What was the weirdest reason you heard for voting Brexit?
I’m not talking “foreigners” or “sovereignty” but real mind boggling nonsense.
A family member wanted to avoid writing an essay on impact of EU law on Trade Unionism. They thought brexit would mean it was unnecessary
Someone suggested that Nadhim Zahawi's remarkable interview with Charlie Stayt this morning might make more sense if it was transcribed. And lo! The veil of gibberish was lifted...
🔴 NEW: @Femi_Sorry gives Boris Johnson's conference speech a reality check
➡️ 45 minutes of bombast
➡️ 1 new policy announcement
➡️ Plenty of fibs
➡️ The verdict? Boris Bullshit Better
Some very serious questions to be answered here by the @Conservatives - and by the @UKSFO who three months on from my report have not contacted me asking for any information.
I really don't like this conflating of EU workers with low wages. As if EU workers only came to the UK to work on building sites. We worked across all industries and provided vital skills to the UK economy. Wages were only so low because certain sectors aren't unionised.

Hospital managers: we need more money, more staff, more space, and more equipment to clear the waiting lists
Government: you can have none of them, oh, and also, if you fail despite not getting what you need to do the job, you're sacked....
