Can we PLEASE stop saying "People will still vote Tory despite...". OF COURSE! There'll always be about 40% voters who buy what the Tories sell at elections. And they've ALWAYS been the minority. Fixing the UK isn't about convincing them. It's about the Left working together!

To those saying that "Centre" isn't left. Yeah, sure, but relatively speaking... The Tories have been in power for 46 of the last 76 years. So for as long as any of us have been alive they've been the political median average of UK governments. Anything to the left of that...

It can't just snap to the left overnight imo. It would cause more problems in the short term. The damage already done is going to take a long time to fix and as long as we have FPTP, the Tories will win because there will be no vote split.
