🇬🇧Population growth is slowing. ONS figures out today show we are not even at 70m yet. Germany is already at 84m.
Our fertility crisis is driven by a housing crisis & childcare cost crisis.
The UK needs to gently densify its cities & do more to address our decline in fertility.

It would make more sense to remove VAT on energy & fuel ⛽️ to bring down inflation.
News: Downing Street confirm Britain's State pension will rise by double figures, as much as 10%, by next year, to protect the elderly against inflation. Ministers have repeated a pledge that the triple lock on pensions is now set to return in April 2023.

This is bollocks.
We have so far given £2billion to Ukraine.
We spent over £400billion on Covid lockdowns.
We spend about £12 billion every year on Green taxes.
It’s the Green crap, lockdowns and money printing which has caused price inflation NOT the Ukraine war.

I couldn’t care less about your small personal inconvenience. Returning democracy to the U.K. is more important
I'm waiting at customs in Heathrow, having paid £700 to get our equipment in & out of the country. We are off to Italy. Before Brexit there was no charge & no customs delay
A real world example of Brexit making things more expensive, inefficient, difficult & less enjoyable

Ultimately voters are to blame for electing politicians that take them to the cleaners.
On Boris and cost-of living. Most people understand Covid's had an impact. What they object to is the fake boosterism. "We're cutting your taxes!" when taxes are rising. "We're going to hep with fuel costs!" when petrol prices soar. They're tired of him taking them for fools.
