The UPA gave-avg 8% economic growth and lifted 27 crore Indians out of Multidimensional poverty in 10 years. It gave rights - RTI, RTE, Right to food, Right to work etc. It never jailed dissidents. It never curbed freedoms of people at a mass level. It was indeed a happy phase.
