So even after this new escalation, the time lag between 2nd jab and booster for someone over 40 is still the same as last month (pre-book after 5mths for an appt 6 months after your second jab). Why is this not sooner?

It's all rubbish, how about they update the system to allow booking for 3months! Rather than waiting in a Q to book to be told you can't !
