If you're the parent of an unvaccinated child, the choice is to send your child to school in unsafe conditions or home school your child. This is a total abdication of government responsibility at the state and local level and it requires federal intervention.

During a deadly pandemic, a school district must answer at least one of these questions affirmatively: 1. Have we created the safest learning environment possible? 2. If not, have we provided learning alternatives for parents and students? @DallasSchools is a "no" on both.

Update to the situation in Dallas --->
Dallas is suddenly moving to offer virtual classes for one reason: When a handful of schools started this week, "half the students expected in attendance did not show up." Parents are done with Greg Abbott's shenanigans and they're simply not sending their kids to school.

It’s hard to believe we’re a worse position in August 2021 than we were a year ago with school starting.

I remember getting notices from Texas schools when there were outbreaks of head lice, urging me to do a nit check on my children. COVID, though, not a priority.

Yeah, but has Abbott allowed vouchers for #MAGAcademy yet? Florida still a step ahead!
