Do you know why BNO鈥檚 daily death count is consistently much higher than the New York Times鈥檚? Every time I look, which is often, BNO鈥檚 is at least several hundred higher.

Are you looking at the 7-day average (which the New York Times displays more prominently)? Today hasn't been updated yet, but yesterday they had 2,969 new deaths while we had 2,997

Yes, and thanks! That appears to explain it. I find it hard to get a daily count when scrolling on the NYT鈥檚 chart so I probably am thinking of the 7- (or 14-?) day average. I appreciate the explanation.
