No impact on vaccine effectiveness either, according to initial data. The only change appears to be that it's even more transmissible than BA.1

Probably not more transmissible. More fit/immune evasive. Not the same thing.

By what standard did they say it creates less hospitalizations? Is by percentage of cases or comparative to past infections... Because a ton of cases can have the same percentage of hospitalizations but have way more hospitalized then a situation with fewer cases.
