This white washing is completely unacceptable. Sure western imperialism is a negative force in the world, but so is China's, Iran's, Russia's, and anyone else who doesn't care about human rights in quest for power. #UyghurGenocide

You forgot the US in that list of countries who don’t care about human rights ;)

Naw it’s actually the Uyghurs who insist for decades that there is forced labor, sterilization, re-education, surveillance, & genocide in OCCUPIED EAST TURKISTAN. It just so happens that the US is exploiting this fact for propaganda purposes. The dismissive language here sucks.

East Turkistan is a state that lasted for 5 years during a time China was split by warlords. The land have no heritage as "east Turkistan".

Is there a reason Twitter doesn't automatically put the video preview for this link? Some subtle censorship perhaps?

Excellent interview. The video is a must watch for anyone wanting to hear about the issues in #Xinjiang & #HongKong from a non-MSM perspective Imagine the US reaction if senior Chinese politicians cheered on the 6 Jan Capitol rioters, like US politicians did with HK protesters🤔
