I worked in Orlando today. I asked my dad who’s visiting from Nicaragua, to come w/me. Since my mom died, I’m more aware of how fleeting & precious time w/our parents is. I guess I just want to say, if your parent is still in your life, don’t take it for granted. Make memories.❤️

Today we lost our dad, Sir Colin Blakemore, after 18 months of suffering from motor neuron disease. He died peacefully in Sobell House Hospice in Oxford, surrounded by love. My sisters and I were with him every day in the hospice, and it was a privilege. We really miss him
