Wow. President Biden gave schools across the country a $280 million boost in funding for mental health issues and the media barely covered it.

His drumbeat is on gun control to prevent annihilators who are responsible for 1% of gun deaths but are a big media splash while suicides are nearly 50% of gun deaths and not typically by a rifle. 280 million seems to be a mere trifle.

The privileged white male run media don’t cover things that actually meaningful for most people.

That 280 million across approximately 100,000 public schools equates to $2800 per school. BFD

Actually, the Executive Office shouldn’t have money to give.

No worries China did! 🤡🎈

Our schools should not be addressing mental health. This should be something the parents do. We have a broken family issue that lacks God. No amount of funding will help that.

*barely* emphasis on the bareness of the bareliness of this not litigated action 😎
While this seems like a major move, the reality is much different. -98,577 public schools -$280MM =less than $2,900 per public school or about $16.70 per school per day WTF is $16.70 going to do to help stabilize mental health services/programs? I like Joe, but this is silly
