No-coiners who hate on #Bitcoin, do so because they feel they've missed the boat. Or, got previously screwed by being dumb traders. There are no other reasons short of pure ignorance.
It's not enough that #Bitcoin provides the best money ever invented, permission-less, open. It's not enough that #Bitcoin mining also stabilizes grids. It's not enough that the heat from #Bitcoin mining can displace other heat sources. It's not enough.
The dingbats take the "don't consume energy" literally, dunking on Jaran, while he is making an accurate claim. Bust out the popcorn.

Bitcoin miners don't consume energy - they generate heat. This heat can be repurposed and used to heat buildings or produce food. Few.
