I wonder if the @indgop are watching the results of the #kansasprimary referendum vote. It's almost like bodily autonomy is popular among everyone. #VoteNo is up by 20 points in red country. This can happen here too in November. @INDprogressives @INDems #VoteBlueToProtectWomen

Let's talk about "parental rights"... Cultural conservatives are trying to make the midterm elections about education in general, and the (phantom) issue of “parental rights” specifically. As someone who has been a teacher at various levels for the past 40+ years, (1/23)

What these “parental rights” activists want is not to determine what books their children are exposed to—they want “the right” to decide what books other people’s kids get to read. They want to impose their own narrow point of view on the entire public school system, (20/23)

Hi, my name is Chad Harmon. I’m a Democrat running for IN HD69. A priority of our campaign is lifting up rural communities by increasing broadband access, adding healthcare options, and fighting inflation. I am at an even number of followers can you RT/Follow and make it odd?

Folks, it's not a "teacher shortage." It's a shortage of jobs that treat educators with the dignity and pay they deserve.

College Republicans waking up to how horrible the @indgop is. They cannot be reasoned with. They will not stop. #Christofascists #BansOffIndiana Any vote for any R supports a #birthcontrol ban and #ForcedBirth policy on child rape victims. #VoteBlue 💙

Right now, instead of workers begging employers for work, we’re seeing employers have to compete for American workers. We're seeing a resurgence of worker organizing and unionization. Where I come from that is a good thing. And it’s long overdue.

Colorado just abolished their sales tax on diapers and feminine hygiene products. This should be a national platform for Democrats in all 50 states. Tax-free diapers and tampons is a winning agenda.

Why @ToddYoungIN and @RepJimBanks won't debate @tommcdermottjr @gomcdermott and @SnyderforIN03 1) Pro-forced birth 2) they hate veterans 3) they hate diabetics 4) they want to tax the working class more money 5) 42nd in education 6) 48th in quality of life #VoteBlueIn2022

I’d like to hear from @SenToddYoung and @SenatorBraun as to why they voted against capping the cost of insulin at $35 per month Insulin has been around forever and is needed by approximately 260,000 Hoosiers to control their blood sugar every day What gives?

I am more upset about the IN senate passing SB1 yesterday than I expected to be, given that we all knew it would happen. I’m just beginning to understand why. It’s the confirmation of what women in this state have felt in the air for years…

I think it is reasonable at this point to highlight just how gerrymandered the Indiana Statehouse is In the 2020 Indiana House election Democrats statewide received 41% of the vote and as a result hold 29% of the seats The Senate is worse (44%—>28%)
In Indiana state politics, the playing field is far from equal Democrats would need to receive 71% of the votes to win half the seats in the State House They would need to receive 79% of the votes to win half the seats in the State Senate

Attn @GovHolcomb: you & the general assembly have put the interests of a radical minority over the needs of this state. In doing so, YOU have made #Indiana less competitive and created a hostile environment for women. #BansOffIndiana #AbortionIsHealthcare #INLegis

Thanks to IN Republicans, Hoosier women are now lesser human beings than we were yesterday. We have lost the right to self-determination, to autonomy, to the futures we want to build for ourselves. It’s an outrage and an imposition on freedom, equality & the values of democracy.
