Hear hear! Heroes, one and all, especially when those they help are abusive &/or refuse to take steps to help themselves in the first place. #HumanityHeroesDay

We must be beginning to run out of PPE. That's when we suddenly realise health care workers are " heroes" and we rely on their "resilience" to care for sick people without adequate protection. Same thing happened last year in the US and UK.

A shout out to the staff at Sandown Racecourse & the Alfred vaccination hubs in VIC. Had my first and second jab from there respectively, and they did an amazing job of making people feel at ease (and we shared some laughters too!) @mjrowland68

We all choose a career and have a fair idea what the job involves. A lot of other people have worked through the pandemic with no hero worship or I’m an essential worker status on fb or shout outs of thanks. Let’s just get on with our jobs we choose to do.

Healthcare workers, Ambos, Doctor’s etc They are ALL in our shadows doing such a vital, hard, many times dangerous & thankless job. When we need them they are there. They’re the “Wind beneath our healthcare Wings” & did I ever say.. They’re my (our) Heroes invidious.fdn.fr/watch?v=0iAzMR…
