Clarence Thomas took Thurgood Marshall's spot on the Supreme Court. Heartbreaking.

When it comes to conflicts of interest, Supreme Court justices only have to follow the honor system. It isn’t working (looking at you, Justice Clarence Thomas). I’ve got a bill to overhaul the recusal process and make them finally follow a binding code of ethics.

Clarence Thomas didn’t report Ginni’s nearly $700,000 in earnings. Thinking that is an oversight is about as believable as thinking he didn’t know about her attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Ginni Thomas made almost $700,000 from the far-right Heritage Foundation from 2003 to 2007. Clarence Thomas had to fill out a standard form listing his "spouse noninvestment income." He put zero.

Because of the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare will finally have the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices. Seniors will see their out-of-pocket costs for drugs limited to $2,000 a year compared to the tens of thousands that some are paying now. That's a godsend.

He can raise the spector of nuclear strikes all he wants. But Medvedev knows any use of nuclear weapons by Russia will mean the end of his personal wealth, his dachas, and his way of life.

Putin has already lost his brain drain of scientists and intellectuals early in the war on Ukraine. Now he is losing men, women and children who would rather leave Russia than live under Putin's iron fist mandates! Putin has lost his war and now he is losing his people!

Thank You President Biden for talking to Governor DeSantis about the approaching hurricane. You prepositioned FEMA personnel and equipment to handle the aftermath of the storm. You immediately declared Florida a federal disaster state so federal funds would be available!

Still precious little time to evacuate as instructed by local officials if you haven't yet. You don't have to go far, just a few miles to get out of storm surge zones and all mobile homes, and into a structure safe from water & wind. Your life could depend on that decision. #Ian
