We commemorate today St. Hyacinth, presbyter. Accompanying bishop Ivo on his journey to Rome, he met St. Dominic and was invested by him with the Dominican habit. After return to Krakow, he founded the first Dominican monastery in Poland.

17 August 2002, Pope John Paul II, in the Divine Mercy Shrine in Krakow-Łagiewniki, entrusted the world to the Divine Mercy. The main celebrations of the 20th anniversary of this event took place on 14 August this year.
