To a well lubricted Tory after dinner audience his rambling sarcasm about other social groups and foreigners and double entendres can seem very amusing but have no substance or political insights (as I have witnessed first hand which confirmed my view he is a political disaster).

Perhaps this explains Musk's need to control Twitter regardless of price. It seems like he retains an extensive PR machine operating 24/7 to shout down sceptics. His Twitter bid may be peak Musk. I suspect the Musk house of cards may collapse soon.
