I take a medication for a chronic illness that costs over $7000/month my share runs to over $6000/year. That is not sustainable for anyone

Do you have Medicare Advantage or Medicare with a Supplement? Advantage is a ripoff. Supplement would be cheaper.

I live in Ohio, a person under the age of 65 on Medicare due to disability can not get a supplement policy in our state. Without a supplement Part B is unaffordable. At least the Advantage policy has an out of pocket max

Wow! Didn't know states could limit SSDI Medicare programs. One year I had to pay over $20,000 in medical expenses because Advantage denied so many things and/or had higher copays. Luckily I can keep my med expenses pretty low for now. So I just have plain Medicare.
