Very clear from @BrandonLewis evidence to @CommonsNIAC that the Govt intends sticking to its controversial legacy plan, despite the opposition, and is now about selling truth recovery as "a proper investigation process", to quote the SofS.

DFM says SoS has assured her that he is taking the steps to move the Irish language legislation through Westminster.
In June the DUP reneged on it’s commitments to legislate for language rights. Sinn Féin moved around them. The British Gov agreed to take the Bills through Westminster in October. I met @brandonlewis who has confirmed he is taking the steps to now move the Bills at Westminster.

Devolved nation guide to watching the budget: listen to the stuff on tax & benefits; ignore basically everything on departmental spending & policies; treat the Barnett number with caution. Wait to see what the devolved finance ministry says later.
