To be fair, Farris is currently listed as a member on the committee’s page and on her own page (which pull from the same data).
A number of reports have appeared in the Mail & subsequent publications about the Privileges Committee, its investigation into the Prime Minister & comments I & others have made
I stepped down from the Committee last month. It is regrettable that no journalist spoke to me first

Farris was listed as a member for the committee’s meeting on July 19 where it approved its report on the conduct of the Johnson inquiry, and when the report was published July 21 she was named as a current member.

Here’s Erskine May on resigning from a select committee. I can’t see any motion discharging @Laura__Farris from the committee on order papers for the last week of Parliament, but might have missed it.

Commons source tells @DailyKumail that yes she is indeed still formally on the ctte until discharged. Farris resigned but it’s not been formally processed/announced yet. So IMO fair to for starters name her as a ctte member. The rest is… 🤷♂️. Back to 🏖 dailymail.co.uk/news/article…
