It's bizarre - I think we're all so desperate for it to be over that people are prepared to indulge in all kinds of doublethink. I'm not convinced "mild" should include any appropriate hospital attendance (much less admission) or long Covid.

The bar of public health is plummeting towards, 'YOLO cuz we're all gonna die someday anyway'
I've messaged my brother this evening saying I would not be sending my children to school. I am heart sick at the damage we're doing to our society and so few actually understand the very serious implications. I've done all I can do to get the message out, that's all I can do.

I can鈥檛 remember my whole family being so completely floored by anything for so long. My husband on day 9, me on day 2, little one day 8. Exhausted. Teens had it over before Christmas.

2020 it was hard to get to hospital, I was told to not call back NHS direct unless physically blue and that they wouldn鈥檛 admit me to give me a drip but to drink 10 rehydration fluids a day. Wasn鈥檛 admitted for pneumonia. Mild is still bloody awful x
