Medicine is about risk reduction. Few meds reduce risk by 100%. When a drug reduces risk of harm by 90% we are thrilled. We don't say: oh well it's not 100%. Many meds for serious diseases reduce risk by around 30%. We take what we can get, and strive to improve on it.
