Little bit of FOMO I'm not on the FSU mailing list so that I can report them, but for those who are you might like to consider reporting to Mailchimp.
Malchimp's rules state 'Once abuse complaints exceed our threshold you will receive a warning notice. If the complaint rate is far beyond that threshold, a suspension notice will arrive in your inbox' so looks like the more people who report the 'free speech union' the better!

I’m too old to read that tiny font.
Because I’m curious How many do you recognize and how old are you?

Rode my e-bike to the supermarket, arrived home to find the new issue of Woman in the letterbox. Now relaxing with a cider reading @nzdodo’s ode to e-bikes and nodding along in agreement.

Tips for parents & planners of child vaccine clinics. 5-11 are the most difficult group to immunise and you want them back in 8 weeks. Here's some of our learnings so far: 1. Planners: Some whānau want to be done together. Have adult doses ready for parents/grandparents.

Well, I know where I’m going next time I need a treat @lashingsfood
2 men came into my café & accused us of operating like a “police state” because we’re checking ID + Vaccine Passes. I mean: LOL. We have 2 signs at entrance, it’s on all our social media & your email, + recommended that ID is checked 🤷‍♀️ Sorry for keeping the community safe?

Yep: pay exorbitant rent, save a house deposit AND pay off a student loan. But god forbid you go to a pub, buy takeaways or otherwise enjoy your life.
time for banks stop being so dramatic and just check whether you've been able to pay rent without fail for the last 10 years and can therefore easily service a mortgage AND buy takeaways twice a week, challenge

An eventful day! Presumably the same kōtare just flew the other direction up my driveway and smacked into the back of my neighbour’s parked car! I rushed out to grab the cat in case she got ideas and it managed to fly to the fence, then off again. Hope it’s ok 🤞
I don't know that I've ever heard a kōtare make noise before, but one just went screeching past my open front door scaring the bejeebers out of me and the cat.

If you're in Aotearoa and own a bicycle, register it today! It's free and secure. The more bikes registered, the more difficult it is for thieves to re-sell stolen bikes - killing the market in stolen goods and thus reducing theft.
Bike theft is an unavoidable side effect of more people cycling, right? Nope, Vancouver has falling bike theft despite a massive increase in cycling. How did they do it? Coordinated community effort using @project529. Let’s #EndBikeTheft in NZ

Apparently the floor is lava and the cat can only get to her food bowl by parkouring over the couches. Today brought to you by a cat who is used to having my undivided attention.

Treated myself to an e-bike before Christmas and I've been riding so much over the holidays. Family catch ups, gift shopping, groceries... Has absolutely changed my relationship with cycling, being able to get somewhere quickly and with less effort, plus carry heavy loads.
the thing that RAGS me about e-bike discourse is that so many people feel like riding a bike is SUPPOSED to be sweaty and exercise, instead of just transport. every time I'm like "I would get an e-bike" so many friends & fam are like "that's cheating" I just want to GO TO PLACES

Yesterday I strapped a six-pack of doughnuts to my carrier and delivered them to my nephew for his birthday. The blustery headwind didn't bother me at all, and I stopped to get groceries before crusing back up the hill back home. Easy as.
