Thinking of all Ukrainians separated from their families this Christmas because of Putin’s murderous and cruel war We are lucky to have our lovely Ukrainian family and I’m sure they will enjoy their first English Xmas but will miss their Dad as he will miss them #Ukraine️

Poll shows Conservative losses will be worst in stronger seats. 15 Cabinet ministers lose their seats: Sunak, Cleverly, Braverman and Barclay. Also Johnson, Truss, Kwarteng 🙌 63% of voters believe that the Conservatives are fundamentally corrupt. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

Jacob Rees-Mogg earned £6m in profit, then paid it to himself in a loan so he wouldn’t have to pay tax and he wouldn’t have to declare it to Parliament.

BP & Shell's record profit for last year was equivalent to more than £70,000 a day from the day of Jesus' birth to today. That's their profit, not their turnover! #Tories lift prices 43% in April so 2023 profits even higher! Shareholders party while the rest of the UK suffers.

We must not forget that for all their fine words, the @conservatives were effectively funded by Russia until Ukraine was invaded. The Tories created the 'Friends of Russia' group and happily took millions from corrupt oligarchs, even making one of the a Peer. #ToryCorruption
"The Tory party are almost entirely funded by Russian oligarchs, most of whom are actually sanctioned'' #pmqs

Does #GregHands, the new answer to ‘how The Conservative Chair can lead them to victory’, realise how most people view his first advert? It boldly states: “The British people don’t like seeing their daily life brought to a standstill, by a tiny minority using extreme tactics.”

It’s a shame your party took us out of Europe isn’t it?
Replying to @GregHands
My strong advice is this: do take the opportunity to live abroad when you can, learn the language, experience another culture (you can’t understand your own if you haven’t experienced another). But don’t get into fights.

Write to your MP and tell him / her that you do not want Britain to leave the ECHR as it protects us against populists and demagogues.

We had our eye on this outfall due to clear signs of pollution, but today we caught in action. It’s supposed to be surface drainage but there’s been no rain, the water was grey, steaming & stank of rotten egg. This is clearly another illegal outfall to add to @thameswater’s shame

Water companies are now free to pollute rivers and are increasing our bills by 11.6% on average for the privilege. Meanwhile, the regulator sleeps.

Utterly inevitable that the factory lured here by Thatcher because of access to the single market, will be affected by leaving the single market. Someone find that stupid woman with the red t shirt on in Sunderland!
Brexit claims another victim.

Ministers quietly scrap limits on Whitehall spending on consultants - You couldn’t make it up. One rule for their friends but no money for „hard working“ public sector workers. Sheer hypocrisy. theguardian.com/politics/202…

There’s one for the walk to work….
Corbyn, Johnson & Truss - all failed leaders taking to airwaves with no self-awareness, a huge victim complex & to undermine the current leader who they all despise. They should do a podcast.
So have I got this right? ‘I’m not claiming to be blameless’ is a weak way of saying: ‘It’s all my fucking fault’
"I am not claiming to be blameless," says Liz Truss, before blaming her disastrous six-week premiership almost entirely on everyone else.

Truss is my local MP. Never seen her. The WHOLE council in my home town resigned. She didn’t show up/do anything. She has ZERO capacity to see she has responsibilities and ZERO brains to even try to. This dog whistle crap in the Sunday @Telegraph proves my points. Go away!

Just a reminder that if we were to leave the ECHR we’d lose our seat in the Council of Europe, joining a group with Russia and Belarus.
