The primary purpose of government in the UK is to save the job of Boris Johnson. Every other consideration - legal, economic, democratic, ethical, public health, defence or trade - is secondary.

All these pledges in the context of Make (Hard) #Brexit Work and the incredibly bad for Britain, buy, make and sell more in Britain are essentially undeliverable. Labour is lying about what it might achieve in Government. And folk working in the #NHS, in particular, know that.

Promised 馃У on the colonization of Donbas. "Donbas" comes from the mid-19th century industrial revolution. It is a type of "rust belt" economic region with a local identity tied to heavy industry. However, this does not imply that the region was lifeless in pre-modern times. 1/

They鈥檒l replace the civil servants with private contracts to companies with connections to the Tory party, just watch. Why wouldn鈥檛 they? They keep getting away with every outrageous thing they do so why would they stop doing outrageous things?

Many were disenfranchised in 2016. A majority still support being in the single market, with free movement, whether that be in the EU or some kind of close relationship like EEA-EFTA. Why are Labour (and Conservatives) so deaf to public opinion?

This is nonsense. Labour cannot get elected on a Hard Brexit ticket, only to tell their voters : "well, you know what, we are Rejoiners (or CU/SM/FoM) after all. The only thing Labour should do, NOW, is start by telling the truth about Brexit. Labour doesn't know what it is doing

There you have it. Stanley Johnson secures French Citizenship. Enjoying the wonderful qualities and freedoms that the EU has for its citizens and their families. The rich keep enjoying every single benefit. Convincing voters they don鈥檛 need any of them.theguardian.com/politics/202鈥

It is painful watching Rachel Reeves avoid mentioning #Brexit when comparing our 9% inflation rate with all the EU countries that enjoy a lower rate. #bbcqt

Labour have the best chance of beating the Tories in Wakefield. The Liberal Democrats have the best chance of beating the Tories in Tiverton & Honiton. We can beat them, together. Make your vote count! 馃挌馃馃尮馃馃敹 #Tiverton&Honiton #Wakefieldbyelection

If the Lib Dems had picked Layla Moran and Labour had picked Jess Phillips they wouldn't be silent on the costs of Brexit. Unfortunately both parties opted for conservative men.

Labour allowed their "broad church" to become so wide and so inclusive, that people felt able to switch their votes to an extreme right Tory party. If a party needs to accept the things that it opposes to get elected. It is the electoral system that is at fault. #MakeVotesMatter

Labour's in chocolate teapot mode on Brexit again, backing Tory claims that parts of the NI Protocol must be changed (even if they differ on the specifics of those changes). So we have a situation in which both main parties believe it's ok for the UK to blow off its obligations.

UK has *levelled down* trade with EU (resurrecting customs & regulatory borders without removing them elsewhere) to be as hard as with rest of world.

Liz Truss is colluding with her govt and the DUP to hold the people of NI to ransom b/c The DUP lost an election, the people of NI voted to remain in the EU for a reason, they're smarter than the tories and the sectarian bigots who would be happy to see a hard border again..

"we're the United Kingdom, we don't renege on our agreements". Turns out I wasted my time. The UKs decided to go rogue on me. That's what's so shameful about this. What we are throwing away. Our reputation.

Didn't Rees-Mogg say it could 50 years for the benefits of Brexit to be realised? Didn't Starmer say rejoining the EU was a matter for future generations? What hope do they offer people who are worried about eating/heating in the next few days? #BrexitReality #OutOfTouch

Proportional Representation would make Labour more electable. That really should interest Labour if they are serious about getting the Tories out. #GTTO #ProportionalRepresentation

Without the freedom of movement that was taken from us by #Brexit. The better jobs in the EU are no longer available to British workers. We are trapped in a workhouse without walls, created to serve the super wealthy. #WorkhouseBritain #RestoreOurFreedoms
