The TERF goal is, ultimately trans genocide. Most of them are super coy about that fact but when you ask them what their ideal world is, it's one where all the trans people are gone. So yeah, they don't want conversation. they want you exhausted, hurt and ultimately. Dead.

Apparently people are unaware that "petite bourgeoisie" is middle management and "small" landlords who act a buffer between the ownership class and those who legitimately learn their trade and apply it to earn their living. "The Rich" is the ownership class, not people doing OK

the actual answer here is that you don't fight a rural insurgency. any militant right wing movement would be fragmented, violence occuring in spots and spurts but not a cohesive nationwide whole. the thing to prep for is a taxed government losing the ability to provide services
Does anyone actually have a plan in case of a right-wing uprising in the US? I mean, beyond “we keep most of the cities, they keep most of the country, and both sides hope the army takes their side.”

Working fusion power is always '10 years away" and has been for half a century so let's curb our enthusiasm a lil' bit until we know details. But if this is half the breakthrough it sounds like then this is a turnkey moment on the order of first splitting the atom.
Scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's NIF have successfully achieved "ignition," meaning the reaction had become self-sustaining. If they can figure out how to harness the energy and turn it into electricity, it would be the cleanest form of fuel known to man.

If and it's a big IF this works, & this is something we can draw energy from then... a lot of things are going to change. As in our great grandkids could be visiting Mars on a day trip, and the worlds power needs are met by a few thousand gallons of water a day kind of change.

Obviously it doesn't solve global capitals stranglehold on the planet & would likely just be a new market to monopolize. It's not a magic bullet, but it's impossible to understate how potentially good this could be.

Working on a commission & I had to design a tv from scratch. It's probably the most technically demanding piece I've worked on and I thought I'd share it.

It'd be neat if blender would stop crashing every time I tried to load in a new texture. Like that'd just be swell. *sighs and restarts blender for the 14th time today*

Hoping come this time next year nothing remains of their leadership, riches, or influence but ashes & fading memories of the horror beyond counting they've let happen under their rooves. The SBC is basically a hate group with enough sex crimes to its name to rival catholicism.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Southern Baptist Convention says it is under investigation by Department of Justice.

lol if you're a trans woman you can literally have an attempt on your life and if people in the online trans community decide you're getting too much sympathy and too much aid they'll turn on you, the victim of a hate crime. just, god damn, man.

The @CDCgov is now just the Center for Disease & Capitalism. They are businessmen in rented lab coats smiling for cameras and telling you to work harder, not medical professionals following any kind of science.
Replying to @NPR
The update isn't a huge overhaul of the existing guidance, but it does represent an increasing focus on individuals making their own decisions about their level of risk and how they want to mitigate that risk, said Dr. Marcus Plescia, chief medical officer for the @ASTHO.

There are very smart doctors at the CDC who in sure carry very much about science, health, and doing tbr right thing. And the CDC is very careful to keep every single one of them far away from a microphone, camera, or official press release.

Every sitcom: So you know how in your late twenties and early 30s, you have this close group of friends that just kind of hangs out at each other’s houses all the time? Teenage me: definitely. 30s me: Wait, what

You know what I shared this earlier but fuck I’m high now. It hurts me that literally every normal person in the world isn’t LIVID and BURNING DOWN GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS right now. I wish I felt like more than 1% of the population is literally just not okay with this.

At this point I’m convinced no, they damn well know we exist and they don’t like that we do and want to actively change that
Immunocompromised, disabled people, and other heightened risk groups apparently no longer exist

OK, any bets on how long it'll be before they release a recommendation that's just "anyone with a covid exposure should lick at least 5 people, and be sure to work an extra 20 hours this week?"
Replying to @NBCNews
The CDC no longer recommends that people quarantine after they have a Covid exposure, unless they are in high-risk congregate settings. nbcnews.com/health/health-ne…
