So in Norway 🇳🇴 as a chemo patient you get free delicious coffee and food when you arrive for your chemo #bcsm @ThanksCancer @bccww and the patients are smiling!!!! I’m very confused but perhaps it’s the drugs or something

2 hrs waiting for my zometa infusion. Get called in, only to be told I can't have it because I've not had a blood test. Nobody told me I needed a blood test. I could have had it when I arrived & the results would have been back in that 2hr wait. Rather cheesed off. Back tomorrow

Being out of the house by 7.40 on a Sunday morning was tough but after helping @curiouswilds we were rewarded with a beautiful, sunny walk to feed the ducks and see the last of the bluebells..home for a rest now.

We've just got back from celebrating my husband's 50th birthday @Diggerland_UK Kent. The adults had as much fun as the kids, if not more. Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly and safety conscious.

A year ago I sat in oncology outpatients like a rabbit in the headlights. Today I sat & spoke to a lady who was diagnosed a few weeks ago. She asked me lots of questions & we talked about how hard it is to tell people you love you have cancer. #PeerSupport in the waiting room

Excellent service from #NHS111 this morning. 45 mins from initial call to first antibiotic being given to my 13yo with tonsillitis.

Fatigue + insomnia are horrible side effects of the hormone therapy drugs I'm taking. They work really hard together to see how to see how tired they can make me but won't let me sleep well @ThanksCancer #bcsm

Today, I gave myself a #Zoladex injection under the watchful eye of the chemo nurse. Next month, I'll be at home on my own. I need my independence back & not to be tied to a monthly hospital/GP trip for the next 5 years for something I'm quite capable of doing #LifeAfterCancer

@jstjohnmatthews the first thing she said was that the book mentioned therapeutic AND diagnostic radiographers, not just radiographers! I'm training her well.
