"Close the borders!" a handful of the Black 2A activists chanted as they marched. One yelled "build the wall" which didn't catch on. "Immigrants, we've been here!" one yelled. "Take your ass home!" the crowd responded. "What do we want? Closed borders! When do we want it? Now!"

When the Black Second Amendment march arrived at the Texas State Capitol, others were there. The group did not take kindly to attendees from a rally for January 6 defendants (some of whom were argumentative, but others who were trying to welcome them) beginning to talk to them.

Eric Braden, a frequent participant in the movement supporting January 6 defendants, introduced himself to the Black 2A unity march leader @DaRealNickBezz as "General E." "We need to stand up together" he told Nick. When quizzed on it, Eric said he'd indeed support reparations.

"How do you think that would have turned out?" asked one of the Black 2A activists of if they stormed the Capitol. Some said hundreds would be killed. "Do not compare struggles. Do not compare what we've gone through to what people who willfully went into a damn building did."

The group also rejected Eric Braden comparing Atatiana Jefferson (who was shot dead by police through a window by police in her own home) to Ashli Babbitt (who was shot dead by police while climbing through the a window in the Capitol).

Eric Braden played a message from Ashli Babbitt's mother outside the Texas State Capitol. "My daughter was murdered," she said. "The truth is like a lion, you don't have to push it, you just have to set it free." A Black 2A activist called it "White privilege at its finest."

The situation between the Black 2A group supporting reparations & the January 6 defendants rally escalated when a J6er said "Kool-Aid's free along with free everything else" and then claimed J6 defendants should get reparations. @DaRealNickBezz called the J6ers "foolish."

Speaking at Texas State Capitol, @DaRealNickBezz advocated reparations for descendants of enslaved people as a "justice claim." "What we don't wanna hear is 'America doesn't have the money' - Ukraine!" "That could be going to the children of the people who built this nation."

Garrett Galloway, brother of Marvin Guy, spoke out about how Guy has been in jail now for eight years without trial after a police offer died raiding his house, where no drugs were found. "Free Marvin Guy! Free him now!" he said. Until recently, Guy faced the death penalty.

One speaker laid out the group's demands as "Reparations now, delineation, a stop to illegal immigration." "We need an anti-crime bill for Black Americans." "Now!" "And we need the same protection act that the Native Americans have against CPS for our Black American children."

"I am a racist" explained one of the activists at the Black Second Amendment Unity Walk. He broke down the word, claiming that as a "pianist" practices piano, "I am a racist, I practice my race." "I practice hard too. Get good at it."

After the group marched back, I spoke with @DaRealNickBezz of @EGPGunClub. He says they brought attention to the "Black agenda" including reparations and other legislation. He says they plan to go into the Texas State House in January to lobby for legislation.

"We do have a problem with illegal immigration," said @DaRealNickBezz. "Because a lot of times, jobs are taken away from Black people." "Black people are locked out from employment due to illegal immigration."
