Once Lord Shiva wanted to take the blessings of Shri Krishna. So he came to Gokuldham in the hopes of meeting little Krishna.
Lord Shiva met Yashoda Mayi and said, "Mata, I would like to meet Krishna."
When Yashoda Mayi saw the avatar of Lord Shiva, she got scared and said, "O Baba, I got so scared by seeing the look of your avatar. I won't let you meet Krishna."
When Lord Shiva could not meet Krishna, he came to this place and did Tapasya so that he could meet Krishna.
What is painful for saintly persons who strictly adhere to the truth? How could there not be independence for pure devotees who know the Supreme Lord as the substance? What deeds are forbidden for persons of the lowest character?

One who has taken his birth as a human being in the land of India [Bhārata-varṣa] should make his life successful and work for the benefit of all other people.
Unless we learn to connect with our supreme spiritual source and the true spiritual nature, we will not find real happiness despite fulfilling our physical, economical, emotional, intellectual, social and even religious longings.
