Major news. Minnesota's House has passed the trans refuge act! This bill, if it passes the Senate, will protect trans people fleeing from other states for their care. It protects from subpoenas and more! Gov Welz has already enacted part of this with an EO, but this goes far!

Just in: The Minnesota House passed the trans refuge act. It creates legal protections for those who travel to Minnesota for gender-affirming care. The bill now goes to Senate committees, then to Gov. Walz if it passes, who says he supports it. MN would be the 4th refuge state.
