Sexual cannibalism is behaviour in which an individual eats its mate during copulation. The production of eggs requires a consequent energy investment from the mother and to increase the production and survival of the offspring, the male(s) or its body provides rich nutrients.

Congrats to Adela for publishing this work! 👏👏We found chemical toxicity to fish would be exacerbated at extremely low and high temperatures, especially at high one 🤒 Chemical exposure can also reduce the thermal tolerance of fish. A link to our paper:
