a professor started going on about how you could give ai a prompt and it would write a paper/response that would be on par with, if not better than, the work his undergrads do. and like … i think that just might mean he’s a bad teacher?

The Turing Test was a test computer scientist Turing made on how much humanity an AI conveyed to an end user. Due to humanity's behavior, Alan Turing ended his own life and ate a cyanide laced apple. Maybe we ought to not have AI pass the Turing test.
