🚨 From 2 January 22 until 3 July 22 there have been 27 editions of the @sundaylife Loyalists have been on the front page in negative coverage on a startling 18 occasions. This includes the last **seven weeks in a row**. There are demonstrably fair questions about balance.

The systemic and cultural bias against Loyalism must stop. We cannot move forward until we truly are an inclusive society.

If there is crime in loyalist areas this must be exposed- but exposed as crime, not used as a means of smearing loyalism in its entirety. Equally, if it’s about reporting crime, it is simply not credible to suggest 66% + of crime in NI is connected to the loyalist community 👇

In the last seven weeks, the @TheSundayLife have had loyalists on the front page seven times. They have had republicans on the front page zero times. Many will rightly question the balance- or lack thereof- in their editorial output.

This isn’t hard, but Simon struggles with the basics. The Protocol is apparently about protecting the Belfast Agreement (devolution arrangements). It has demolished the Belfast Agreement, and thus devolution. It’s pretty basic stuff.
I’m not convinced by the necessity argument or shackling Protocol reform to devolution. They are two separate “work streams”

I can understand how one might wish them to be separate work streams but if those who are in a position to connect them, do so, I’m pretty sure they should, objectively, be regarded as being connected.

Complete waffle from Deirdre Heenan pretending to drop all sorts of hints she somehow has these well informed ‘sources’. She doesn’t. A deliberate effort to throw in a mix.
Could Emma @Little_Pengelly be the DUP’s new ‘shadow’ deputy first minister? @DeirdreHeenan told @MarkCarruthers7 she’s heard that suggestion from two DUP sources.

The way forward for Unionism is clear: Secure the passage into law of the Protocol Bill (with appropriate amendments to strengthen it), and then go back to the electorate to seek a renewed mandate for the way forward. In that election, restore a unionist FM.

Very sad news, not just for Rangers fans but anyone who is a supporter of football. Andy Goram was so often the difference in Rangers matches between winning and losing. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends who will feel his loss mostly deeply. #Rangers #AndyGoram
Rangers Football Club are today deeply saddened to announce the death of our legendary goalkeeper, Andy Goram, following a short battle with cancer.
