I’m really sad that Ed Asner has passed. He was a friend and kindred spirit. I think his last TV gig was a recent episode on Grace & Frankie in this final season we’re shooting. He always had a sparkle. RIP my friend. #EdAsner @TheOnlyEdAsner

He was brilliant in Dead to Me as well. Glad to know we will be able to see him in Grace & Frankie. I love that show!!

I honor your grief, sister. Reminder, though, that there’s no death. Energy doesn’t die it simply shifts form. Ed is near you and you can talk to him about anything he can hear you. he will find a way to communicate back with you. It’s not birth to death but truly birth to birth.

I was sad to hear the news too since a couple of days ago I had just watched the Grace and Frankie episode that Mr. Asner was in. And I was thinking it was such a pleasure to see him on my TV again. He will be missed very much. Thank you, Ms. Fonda, for another hilarious season.
