#Covid rules are and were all about not spreading disease.
The Downing Street garden is a secure area protected by armed police adjoining ~100 cramped offices. No mixing with nonDowning Street workers is possible. This will be one of the factors being considered in the inquiry.
Was the Downing Street Party a “flagrant breach of the rules” as #Labour are happily claiming? Sue Gray will decide, but here are the facts:
1) There are 80/90 offices in the Downing Street complex with key workers who were all operating closely together indoors
