Jokes aside, youth sports are becoming too expensive for a lot of families. A real conversation to be had.

"It just leaves it up to the States. Relax."
The states that will ban abortion first are also the states with the lowest minimum wages, states less likely to have expanded Medicaid, states more likely to be “Right-to-Work” states, and states with higher-than-average incarceration rates. epi.org/blog/abortion-rights…

See, they say "we got Hall of Famers like Lynn Swann" as if the Bengals didn't have a guy that was comparable in Isaac Curtis.

Something I've been curious about and I had time this morning... How many "big" contracts can each NFL team fit? I used 5% of the 2022 cap hit or a $10M+ cap hit to define a "big" number. The average per team is 4 big contracts with 1 fringe player just below those thresholds.

The teams with a top 16 QB cap hit in 2022? They still averaged 3 other "big" cap hit players on their roster. The teams without a top paid QB still only averaged 3 "big" cap hits on their 2022 rosters. They all still had 1 fringe player that nearly met the previous thresholds.

In 2022, the Jets and Colts have 7 players with big cap hits. The Bills, Cowboys, Patriots and Cardinals have 6 big cap hit players. The Raiders and Jaguars only have 1 each. Giants, Dolphins, Saints, Texans, Seahawks and Steelers have 2 each. *Bengals have 5.

If the cap keeps going as projected, in 2024, 5% of the cap will be about $13M. Bengals are slated to have just 2 "big" cap hits in 2024 (Mixon and Hendrickson) until some of these young players get extended. Zero in 2025. That's how you fit Burrow, Higgins, Chase, others.

This is in response to "You can't re-sign everyone!" No, but you can keep 4 stars AT LEAST. Maybe even 6 of them if you time it right.
