My book, dyingofwhiteness.com, shows how Trump/GOP policies that claim to make white America "great again" end up making the lives of working-class white supporters harder, sicker and shorter—and in the end, threaten everyone’s well-being.
People are asking how to fight back against
@GovBillLee and his education advisor, @Hillsdale Larry Arnn's, degrading and demoralizing remarks about teachers, professors, diversity administrators, and universities. I have some suggestions...
Like a lot of people, i’m hopeful that #SCOTUS Will start something like a regular sex advice column so that they can tell us which partner choices, positions, etc., are OK, and which are not. Certainly don’t want to run afoul of the constitution.
I’m thinking also maybe a hotline for when you are in the moment and needing some timely constitutional advice? Like, “ how would people in 1791 feel about _____verb_____ing?”
People with lives and jobs are going to be shocked once elections kick into high gear again and hear what some of these people have come to actually believe since 2020.

Republican Senators on Twitter today admitting that their strategy was to pack the courts with political conservatives in order to enact an agenda that was too unpopular to pass through an elected, popularly accountable Congress.
Today’s news that the Supreme Court is taking up the Moore v. Harper case ahead of 2024 should scare the hell out of all of us. This Court could gut our Presidential elections the same way they just gutted Roe. Here’s a 🧵 on why it’s so dangerous and what we can do about it. 1/

Not getting nearly enough attention, ? posed by @adamwinkler : are key parts of the "historic" bipartisan gun bill moot and DOA given #Scotus gun ruling?
The Court's Second Amendment ruling calls into question key parts of the Senate gun bill. Thomas says only gun regulations consistent with historical regulation of guns are permissible. Red flag laws, however, are a modern invention. So too bans on domestic abusers.
