Captain Nimbalkar led his men from the front over inhospitable terrain at 16,500 feet negotiating torrents amidst artillery shelling. Undeterred, he advanced for over twelve hours & caught the enemy unaware. In a hand-to-hand scuffle eliminated 12 enemies.
