The @Telegraph has been leaked the results of TfL’s ULEZ expansion consultation. 66% of respondents want @SadiqKhan to cancel it. Expanding the ULEZ would be a damaging mistake. It would also be a terrible way to spend £250 million, when there are (1/2) telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

The Labour Party and Sadiq Khan can continue to try and reassure themselves over the ULEZ expansion. People in Dagenham and Rainham do not want ULEZ now or ever.
The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan told a global summit that the “silent majority” of Londoners support his plan to extend the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to cover the whole of the capital. dlvr.it/Sl7ybl

I have written to Labour MPs and council leaders calling on them to oppose Sadiq Khan's disastrous ULEZ expansion, and condemn his smearing of Londoners concerned about the cost of living impact.

Sadiq Khan's London Legacy Development Corporation is still failing to turn a profit, and it might take until 2034 before it does. Once again, the Mayor is asleep at the wheel.

🗣 @NJROnline: “The mayor received a £6 billion government bailout to help clean up the mess he made of TfL’s finances, and yet he is still unable to get a grip of the situation and ensure Londoners are able to travel without disruption." telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/03…

In 2016, Sadiq Khan said... "As mayor, what I’d do is roll up my sleeves and make sure that I’m talking to everyone who runs public transport to make sure there are zero days of strikes" Today marks the 135th strike on his watch.

Why don’t you use the actual positive figures instead of an incorrect forecast, Rachel?
After 13 years of the Tories, Britain's growth is on the floor. And it’s families that are paying the price. Labour’s mission to secure the highest sustained growth in the G7 will make all parts of Britain better off.

Sadiq Khan’s team seem to believe that their own commissioned research should be listened to, but any scientific evidence that questions their views should be ignored and smeared as "climate science denial." All so they can hit the poorest hardest with their ULEZ tax.

The study, by Liang Ma, Prof Daniel Graham and Dr Marc Stettler, is from the same university that Sadiq Khan gets his ULEZ data from. It uses a regression discontinuity design model to isolate the effect of ULEZ versus other factors. iopscience.iop.org/article/1…

🚨 NEW: Sadiq Khan’s deputy Shirley Rodrigues was asked by @emmabest22 if she’d read a peer-reviewed Imperial study, which found ULEZ had a limited effect on air quality when it was first brought in. Her response? “It sounds a little bit like the climate science deniers.”

Tackle air pollution where it is, don’t tax where it isn’t. This Imperial College NO2 map shows why our City Hall ‘pollution hotspot fund’ would have been an excellent tool and why it’s so disappointing Labour opposed it. imperialcollege.maps.arcgis.…
