We have now had advice from our lawyers. We will be sending a further judicial review pre-action protocol letter to the Met in relation to the apparent failures in its investigation into the Prime Minister later this week. independent.co.uk/news/uk/boโฆ

One thing that needs to be clarified. I'm told that not only was Boris not fined for the 13 November event - even though others who attended were - he wasn't even sent a questionnaire over it. So if that's true, on what basis did the Met determine his attendance was legal.

I believe that the PM has misled the HoCโs from the despatch box. That is a resignation issue. I have made my own position clear. It is now a matter for my Conservative parliamentary colleagues to decide whether or not to instigate a vote of no confidence.

A serious question. Did senior Met police officers attend any "legal" leaving events during lockdown in which alcohol was served. Were any such events held in Scotland Yard, or other Met police stations, during lockdown. Because if they did, it might explain something.
Grant Shapps insists the event on 13/11/20 was NOT a party.
He tells Sky: "Probably what what happened is he was at the end of a busy day, he walks down, he says cheers to somebody who's worked there and walks out and to him that is not a party."
