Very well done Bill! 👍 #Russian #oligarchs
Just arrived in Davos. For the last 15 years I’ve been telling anybody at the WEF who would listen not to business with the Putin regime. As of March, all Russian oligarchs and government officials are banned. Mission accomplished!

St. Petersburg concertgoers yelling in unison “F..k the war” over and over. Perhaps Putin’s propaganda isn’t convincing everyone.
Питер. Концерт. Весь зал скандирует «Х** войне!» К слову о том, что все россияне поддерживают Путина. Это не так!

Does anyone else wake up sometimes in complete disbelief that Boris Johnson is our Prime Minister? I suspect Boris himself does. The man couldn’t run a bath.

I’m not “left wing” at all, so you have my utmost respect for standing up for what is right. I must admit I did enjoy Chomsky’s “Hegemony or Survival“ though.
Replying to @OByrska
Just wanted to underline I'm very much leftwing myself: hence I expect people with whom I seem to share values to stand a proper moral ground, not to be blinded by moral superiority that does not exist in real life. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes very bad indeed, like the Guardian article to which I was compelled to write a rebuttal: theguardian.com/world/2018/j…
Not insightful. Bafflingly bad. Makes no mention of repeated Russian provocations against both countries. GRU on Gotland. Airiston Helmi. Good Friday 2013. Submarines. Cyber attacks. Info ops. And much much more
Such #censorship is definitely wrong - let’s see if #Musk can do better with Twitter.
Journalist @Den_2042 who focus on human rights, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia has been suspended from @Twitter for almost a month for tweeting photos of wounded Ukrainian children. That's not right I think, please give his account back @TwitterSupport. Please retweet to support.

We had better be….shocking to learn of the government’s attitude forty years after the massacre, effectively still colluding with the Soviets by airbrushing. Can you share any of the docs?
Ha! I'm literally dealing with documents from the 1980s with the UK government having palpitations every time the British Poles erected a 'Katyń 1940' monument. Seem to be over that now, don't we chaps? 😏

New @hrw report on #Ukraine documents abhorrent, unlawful, and cruel atrocities committed by the Russian forces occupying parts of Kyiv & Chernihiv regions. These are evident war crimes that should be promptly & impartially investigated and appropriately prosecuted!

Fascinating thread on the Chinese viewpoint on the #RussianUkrainianWar - one has to agree with the statement at the end.

My Spectator review of Tariq Ali's appallingly error-strewn book on Winston Churchill: spectator.co.uk/article/What… It's fine writing about someone you hate on political grounds, but you ought to get the basic facts roughly right. Simon Heffer's Telegraph review found even more errors
