Please retweet if you want Labour, LibDems and Greens to cooperate at the next election in order to oust the Tories and introduce PR so that we never again have to endure a Tory Government with an eighty seat majority obtained with just 43% of the popular vote.

Today I learnt of another breathtaking woman… this thread 👇🏻

She decided then that there would be no pregnant women in Auschwitz. This was an ongoing challenge as was SA was RAMPANT in the camps. And despite having no tools or anesthesia she used her knowledge as a gynecologist to end the pregnancies as best she could to save the women.

You might love Steve Bray, hate him or be indifferent to him. That’s kind of beside the point. The real issue is that a peaceful, if boisterous, protest is being called violent by an actual government minister. They’re framing vocal, mildly disruptive dissent as violence.

This shames us all. Silencing dissent isn’t patriotic or British.
On the day that “noisy” protest becomes unlawful under the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, at least 20 police officers have just surrounded anti-Brexit protestor Steve Bray outside the Houses of Parliament and seized his loud speaker. @LBC

Ectopic pregnancy is the implantation of a fertilized egg outside of the uterus. It is the leading cause of maternal death in the 1st trimester as fatal hemorrhage can occur. Treatment is abortion. #AbortionIsHealthcare

When was the last time you thought to yourself “Damn, i wish there was some way I could swap my money, my freedom, my childrens’ opportunities and our relevance on the world stage for a slightly more powerful vacuum cleaner”?

You can never ban abortion, you can only ban safe abortions. Read that again.

Roe recognized the fundamental right to privacy that has served as the basis for so many more rights that are ingrained in the fabric of this country. The right to make the best decisions for your health, the right to use birth control, the right to marry the person you love.

If you’re against abortion, don’t get one. If you’re against contraception, don’t take any. If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one. If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender. Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.

Banning abortion never actually bans abortions. It just bans safe abortions. And everybody knows it.
