As a newly emerged Sovereign nation, why are we reliant upon a French company, EDF, to add 7% capacity to the UK electrical supply? Presumably they will also take any profits out of the UK to utilise elsewhere.

We need to be as self sufficient as possible and not rely on other countries. Russia, Norway, France etc for gas and electricity. Mini nuclear reactors from Rolls royce and local gas. Ukog Dunsfold and ujo in east Yorkshire to name 2.
