I have always been strongly pro-life. Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court returns power to the states and the people of the states to address the issue of abortion under state law.

Slavery next? Let the states decide? States should be able to govern tax rates, and similar issues. Not basic human rights.

Contraceptives are next. Gay marriage is next. The right to privacy is next.

Is slavery on the SC docket?

The amendment which bans slavery has a exception for punishment of a crime. Some state will pass a law making slavery the punishment for some menial crime, and the supreme court will most certainly allow it. They gotta keep those people under control.

And before anyone says it, I’m pro-choice.
There is a need to set a federal standard for every human right. Abortion is one of them. You cannot create an "abortion clinics market" in the USA. It is absurd. Pass in Congress a pro abortion law setting the standards!
